Welcome to the Public Works Department

Welcome to the City of Russellville’s Public Works Department page. Public Works is primarily responsible for administration, planning, maintenance, construction management and technical engineering of the City’s infrastructure.

It is the mission of Public Works to maintain and preserve the City’s public way infrastructure which includes streets, sidewalks, street signs and traffic signals. The department provides an economically and professionally operated fleet service center to assure safety and reliability for the employees of Russellville. Additionally, the Public Works Department protects the environment while maintaining health and safety standards through the management and operation of the city’s storm drains and drainage ditch systems.

Public Works is committed to operating a department that will deliver exceptional service to the citizens of Russellville while maximizing the resources available.

Public Works responds to numerous public service requests each year. These requests include street and drainage problems, traffic signal or sign problems, and other maintenance issues. For inquiries and to request service click here.
